How about another bike ice cream event. The Cup ‘n Cone Tour is composed of 31, 49 and 67 miles up the challenging “col d’ Lystra” and through the quiet roads of Orange County to Maple View Farm. Lots of ice cream and free BBQ lunch… and more ice cream!. We need ham volunteers for SAGs, rest stops, course monitors and shadows. Starts/ends at Green Hope High School in Cary. Event benefits the National MS Society.

Below are the Garmin GPS file for that event. For information on these files, see my webpage About GPS Files and Event Support.

This event will have three routes – 67 miles, 50 miles and 30 miles.
The GPS file contains 8 routes. Each forward route is duplicated as a reverse route.  The first two are full course routes, while the remaining 6 are route sections between the start and rest stops.

  • 67 mile OUTBOUND — full course from start to RS3
  • 67 mile INBOUND    — full course in REVERSE, RS3 to finish
  • Start to RS1
  • RS1 to Finish
  • RS1 to RS2
  • RS2 to RS1
  • RS2 to RS3
  • RS3 to RS2

If you need to manipulate these files, you should look into a program called GPSBABEL

If you have any questions, let me know.
